Design and art direction of MyHouse, a nationally based architecture magazine published bi-monthly by The McGraw-Hill Companies. The magazine’s target audience are readers and experts in the field of design and construction. It offers exceptional ideas useful to those undertaking a renovation, addition, or building a new home.
Working very closely with the in-house team of editors, writers and photo editors Hinterland ensured that the overarching design philosophy of each issue—to emphasize the building projects, the visually dynamic results, as well as the people that made it happen—never got lost. Inside, an active and varied layout captures the vibrancy of each project through the use of a limited color palette and only two typefaces. We were involved in every decision from beginning to end and from cover to cover.
