Identity, stationery system and website with custom content management system for Robert Bump Construction, an architecturally driven high-end residential construction and renovation company founded in 1985. Their work with leading residential architects includes both classical and contemporary projects throughout the Hudson Valley, Western Connecticut and New York City.
The goal was manifold: to create an identity that was both contemporary and spoke to craftsmanship, along with a website that included every project completed since 1985 while highlighting a select few. The logotype references construction through strong vertical lines that ‘bump’ into each other building hybrid letterforms and structures that remain perfectly legible. The stationery is blind embossed to create dimensionality from a flat surface building upwards. Online, the images on the landing page of the website ‘bump’ into each other as you navigate through projects, with the content literally being built from the ground up (i.e the bottom of the browser window).
