Self-initiated promotional poster with a message of hope in reaction to how the 24-hour news cycle spins economic doom and gloom at an alarming rate. The opening paragraph of the classic Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, contained the perfect message… “The period was so far like the present period.”

The goal was to showcase our love of typography, illustration and using our hands. We created and photographed over 100 unique hand cut snowflakes but only 56 made the ‘final cut.’ The paper’s transparency makes the negative sentences in the quote disappear behind a blanket of snowflakes. Hold this poster up ‘to see the light.’
